reverse landyaght

reverse landyaght09Today we tested the Reverse buggy with a sail on it.
So a new concept, a landyaght with two wheels in front and one wheel at the back.
Steering on the frontwheels for optimal grip in the corners and stable steering.
Lying position gives some aerodynamics and relaxed position.
We tested with a 5,5 mtr sail and it was possible to get the reverse on two wheels but a flipover is almost impossible.
Only with a axle of 1,30 mtr it is still more stabillity then a classic landyaght.
We liked to test this combination and this will certainly be continued….

The other landyaght on the picture is a standard Aero kitebuggy upgrades with a sail.

BASTON soon!!

baston01Finally we can tell you that there is coming some new stuff.
The smallest mumba is 3.2 mtr and for some people this is still too big with hard wind.
Therefore we have designed a new kite which can be used below the mumba 3.2 mtr.
The Baston will come in sizes 2.0 – 2.4 – 2.9 mtr, so this is enough to play with very hard winds.
Begin of August we expect to have the 2.0 and 2.4 on stock.
Later we will come with the 2.9 mtr.
All kites will come in the same color, black upper and blue lower.
The Baston is a fast but stable kite, but still with performance to use as a racekite.

More information begin August when they are available……

Race @ Texel

texel2013_01Like last years again we had the Dutch races on Texel.
Friday was a nice day to practice on the perfect beach.
Saturday we had some nice winds and we could use a 4 or 5 mtr kite.
We held 4 races each classe.
Teamrider Kim had some breakdowns with the races and the position was not very well.
Luckily the next day was perfect. Some sunshine and lower wind.
Kim had some very good starts, even the guys were surprised.
Overall she managed to reach in first position.
Congratulations!
Next event is the Dutch closing races at 15 & 16 Juni @ The Dam.
Good luck !

German Champ

Borkum2013_02With lots of rain and low wind the German raceweekend at Borkum was not the same succes as last years.
Despite of the bad weather it was possible to have some races on the Sunday.
Some nice laps on the big beach made it possible to close the German Championship.
Not entirely unexpected Annika succeeded again to retain her champion title.
With the final of zero points she is unbeatable and again the number one of the German women.
Congratulation!

Borkum2013_01Another succes in Germany is teamrider Fin.
He managed to finish third in the final weekend.
With this last result he is the vice champion of the juniors.
