World Championship 2012 Cherrueix. For the first year MG participated in the world championship kitebuggy. Last week was a very nice week. We had some good races on the dry days. The other days it was also good to have a nice talk to lots of people. Therefore MG wants to thank all the foreigh participants who were also at the event. We had some good conversations and some business calls. Till now MG didn’t have contacts in England, Scotland and Ireland. Now we reached the po…int to step into these countries! First start; next week the MG Aero and the MG Discwheels are in Englands. For demo and questions you can contact Simon Jeffery and Alan Vidow. We will also contact a person in Ireland for a set of Mumba’s and soon also for England. During the races we noticed that the Mumba is the competitive kite to win a race. We reached the 15th and 18th place overall while this is the first official race for the Mumba! So we will expect a lot more of this kite next season. With the right pilot this kite will be a nr one. The prototype MG dicswheels were a succes. They easily cut through the water on the beach. The acceleration was even more then with bigfoots. And most important of all the wheels can resist the heavy conditions of the beach. We saw similar wheels from another brand which had a stroke in the rim. We can tell you that these wheels with the heavy crossed spokes will be a succes on each beach. The wheels come to England next week for people to test. We also will start a poll on our page for people who are interested so we can start our productions and get the best quality with the lowest price for you. We also want to congratulate our teamrider Annika Grab who is the new world champion for the women. Again she was the fastest woman in the MG AERO. Just keep in mind, MG builds for the road. Our teamrider Mathieu made a nice movie.
He just received his own custom colored Mumba’s.
Of course he could not wait till the first flight. He made very nice movie with good impression of the kite.
This was the 3.2 mtr but we can expect more nice movies of the bigger ones this summer….
We wish him good luck with his new kites and hope for some nice results next season.
Dutch Champ 2012
Unfortunately the Dutch Championships for today were cancled due to the bad conditions of the beach.
Because of the high winds the beach was very bumpy.
This was reason enough for the organisation to take no risks and cancle the races.
Today we could also close the Dutch season 2011-2012.
We want to Congratulate our teamrider Bram Krijgen (H152) with his great victory in the open class.
Most of the races he had driven with the Zebra Z3 and of course his MG Aero.
For next season Bram will participate the masterclass, and we hope this will be fully powered by MG.
Soon Bram will decide if he will start the races with the Mumba next season.
First place Aero rider Annika
We want to contratulate our German Aero teamrider Annika with her victory.
Again we was unbeatable with the races on Borkum.
As you can see on the pictures below, she had a very good start with a race.
Same as last year Annika is the German champ for the womenclass.
After the eurochamp victory from last year she now will do her best to become the worldchamp at the worldcup in July.
