Discwheels mounted

This is the first view of the discwheels on the kitebuggy.
The wheel is based on a two layered 100 mm wide rim made of alluminium with anodized treatment.
The hub is a MG production made of stainless steel.
Also the spokes are stainless steel and 3 mm thick.
We have chosen for crossed mounting because this is compared to a straith mounting better.
The forces are divided over the X and Y component and therefore the internal force of the spoke is less.
Coming weeks we will test the wheels on several substrates.
We want to optimize the wheels for a perfect quality.
We think there is always some space for improvement.

MG production factory

The first production kites of the Mumba are now on the table.
We want to share some nice pictures of the production department.
All the kites are lasercut for a precise contour.
In this clean environment the kites are made with high precision just as the paragliders be manufactured.
Each kite is subjected to a bridletest.

MG ultralight discwheels

This is one of our new projects. Building a ultralight discwheel.
Using a 100 mm wide double-walled aluminium rim gives enough courseplane to use this wheel on the beach.
We build it with stainless steel hubs and spokes for maximum strength.
We hope to show the complete wheels finished very soon.
Then we can start with a comprehensive test on the beach!
Interested?? keep watching us.

MG Aero kitebike

Finally we had someone who was very interested to test our new prototype of the MG kitebike twowheeler.
Jelle Huijsman a new rider who used to ride in his Libre twowheeler could do this job easy.
He already rides the MG Aero and the first run with the kitebike was absolutely no problem for him.
This weekend Jelle also passed for his racing license so I think we will hear more from him in the future.

For the kitebike we have to make a small adjustment to finalize it but as you can see it works very well!
